Terms of Service

Effective date: September 20, 2026

1. Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms of Service govern your use of Youse, including our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the Service). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use Youse. Do not use the Service if you do not meet these requirements.

2. What Youse provides

Youse provides private tools for two connected partners to share memories, photos, plans, lists, daily questions, mood check-ins, reminders, and relationship reflections. The Service is for personal use only. It is not medical, mental-health, therapy, counselling, emergency, legal, or crisis-support service, and it is not a substitute for professional advice.

3. Your account and relationship space

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and device. Do not share invitation links or codes except with the intended partner. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without authorisation.

A shared relationship space is intended for two consenting adults. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload, share, or otherwise make available any content in the space.

4. Your content and privacy

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Youse. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, and process that content solely to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service to you and your connected partner.

Content placed in a shared space may be visible to your connected partner. You may delete content where the feature allows it, but copies may remain temporarily in backups or where retention is required by law. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Youse to harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, exploit, deceive, or unlawfully monitor another person; upload unlawful, infringing, harmful, or sexually exploitative content; interfere with the Service or its security; attempt unauthorised access; scrape or reverse engineer the Service except where law permits; or use the Service for commercial purposes without our written permission.

We may investigate misuse and suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms, the law, or the safety of users or the Service has been violated.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Some features may require a paid subscription after any applicable trial. Pricing, renewal period, taxes, and payment terms are shown before you purchase. If you purchase through an app-store platform, that platform’s payment terms, cancellation process, and refund rules also apply. If you purchase through another payment provider, that provider’s terms apply.

Unless required otherwise by applicable law or the relevant platform’s terms, subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the payment method or platform used for purchase. Cancelling prevents a future renewal; it does not normally refund amounts already paid or immediately remove access for the paid period.

7. Service changes and availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, or comply with law. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes when practicable. The Service is provided on an “as available” basis, and uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Youse and its service providers disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Youse will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or relationships arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using Youse at any time and may request deletion of your account through the account-deletion page or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users, the Service, or legal compliance. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including content, payment, disclaimer, liability, and dispute provisions—will survive.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or another appropriate method. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. For questions, contact [email protected].
